• Federal Transit Stimulus Funds for Miami-Dade Municipalities,
  March 13, 2009 adjustments

MDCLC interpretation of the motion approved at the February 20th MPO meeting was that 20% of the stimulus package’s transit funding be set aside for the municipalities in Miami-Dade, and was not intended to include the unincorporated areas. Therefore, the correct transit allocation for each municipality is based on each municipality’s percentage share of the incorporated population of the county.
