The Miami-Dade County League of Cities was formed in 1953 for the purpose of assisting its members in cultivating and maintaining the most proficient ways of administering
government for the general welfare of the residents and
business in the County.

MDCLC was established in 1953 for the purpose of uniting the common interests of the municipalities within Miami-Dade County.

The League has evolved throughout the years, but continues to work together with the municipalities’ elected officials on important issues that affect the residents and the business community of the respective cities, towns and villages. 

Together we will continue to protect the sovereignty of our municipalities to give our residents the best possible services and ensure a good quality of life for them and future generations.

MDCLC's Fifth Annual Best Practices Conference

We are pleased to announce that the Miami-Dade County League of Cities Fifth Annual Best Practices Conference will take place at the Hilton Miami Airport, 5101 Blue Lagoon Drive, Miami, FL 33126 on

Friday, October 9, 2015.

The cost to register is $75.00 and includes sessions and discussion, entrance to the exhibit hall, a continental breakfast, luncheon with a guest speaker and a cocktail reception at the end of the conference. It will be a great opportunity to learn from each other and work together! Sponsorship opportunities available, contact the League office!

Attached is the RSVP form, if you have already RSVP’d you DO NOT need to do so again. Please respond by Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 12:00 noon.

As parents and children begin to prepare for the new school year the Miami-Dade County League of Cities is organizing its 5th Annual backpack/lunchbox school drive. We are asking you to bring a new or used (in good condition) backpack and/or lunchbox to this Board meeting. We will be distributing these items in coordination with the Miami-Dade County Public School System, to children in need. (See attached flyer)

If you need to cancel for any reason you must do so by Monday, August 3, 2015 by no later than 5:00 p.m. otherwise, you will be charged since we have to pay for your reservation. Any RSVP’s made after the deadline will be charged an additional $10.00 surcharge.
